Senior Mechanical Engineer
(Kuala Lumpur) 

Responsibilities:
 

To supervise Mechanical/ PipingEngineers in the Department 

To carry-out design review activities for Mechanical/ PipingDisciplines and liaison with the clients 

To prepare man-hour estimation for bidding purposes  

To provide inter-office/ inter-department technical advisory and also to the clients 

To prepare performance assessment for Mechanical/ Piping Engineers when required 

To attend Factory Acceptance Test when required 

Responsible to the Mechanical/ PipingDepartment during the absence of the Mechanical/ PipingDepartment Manager

Requirements: 

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering withat least 7 yearsexperience as Discipline engineer in the Oil & Gas Industry.
Experience in design of FEED, Detailed design package or fabricated equipments and package items.
Knowledge of Pressure Vessels, Rotating Machinery, Piping inclusive of stress analysis
Possess good and sound engineering knowledge in codes and standards related to piping and pressure vessel design such as ASME, ANSI, API etc. Knowledge of client standards such as PTS, DEP etc.
Awareness/knowledge in any one or more of Piping and Pressure vessel design/analysis software like PV Elite, CAESER II, Local load (WRC 107 & 297) etc.
