We are an international general contractor, engaging in the engineering, design and construction of various types of industrial facilities for a broad spectrum of customers throughout the world, including many of the principal national oil companies and several multinational companies. We are the leader for engineering and construction in the oil and gas sector in Spain, one of the leaders in Europe in the design and construction of oil and gas facilities, and one of the world leaders in the refining sector. Most of our business is concentrated on large turnkey industrial projects, although we also provide engineering, management, start-up and operating services for industrial plants. Excellent opportunity for a senior Project Director to lead major projects for Spain´s leading EPC contractor. You will be the contract representative and single point of contact for the client and have responsibility for the implementation of strategy in terms of technology, schedule, cost and procurement etc. You should have excellent leadership and communication skills and written and spoken English. Employment Requirements: At least 15 years of experience in Oil&Gas. At least 10 years in leading positions in EPC Projects. Experience at both Office and Site/Construction. Experience in Projects valued at least $200 million Experience in Middle East Projects (better if Saudi Arabia). Willing a long term position. Valuable Requirements:  Willing to relocate Madrid and then Middle East.  Spanish Skills. Interviews will take place over the phone or in our offices in London. Project Director (Spain - Madrid, Middle East) Responsibilities: Scope of activities Contract representative and single point of responsibility to the client. Project authority and responsibility. Key responsibilities Implementation of the strategy in terms of technology, schedule, target cost, engineering, procurement, subcontracting, construction and pre-commissioning / commissioning and start-up assistance. Control of all factors, which affect the quality, the schedule and the project cost. Preparation of the project objectives, policies and strategies, the coordination procedure among Company and the project operation centres. Issuing the monthly progress reports to Company regarding the current project status, Provision of the necessary office accommodation and working atmosphere to Client’s representative. Monitoring the project execution in the shortest possible time and at reasonable cost while maintaining the quality required by the Contract. Issuing of the 90 days front end project schedule. Clear definition of the extent and the nature of the services, which are required by the Contract. Establishment of the budget, project schedule, job specifications, and coordination procedures to be applied to the project. Coordination and supervision of all contacts with suppliers, subcontractors, inspection agencies, insurance companies, local authorities. Commercial, legal, financial, and administrative skills are essential. Requirements: Proven experience Senior project director with more than 20 years of relevant working experience in oil, gas, chemical and petrochemical industry. Minimum requirements BSc in Industrial Engineer or equivalent. Willingness to travel. Candidates shall be ready to perform part of the work in other countries as required (worldwide mobility applies to both short and long term assignments). Excellent English language skills. Spanish language skills will be an advantage. Leadership and Communication skills.
